Frequently asked questions
How do I mark an invoice as paid?
Open the invoice and tap Mark as paid. The payment date is recorded. Tap Mark as unpaid to undo it.
When is an invoice shown as overdue?
An unpaid invoice becomes overdue after its due date. The due date is set from your payment terms (Settings › Document defaults) and can be changed on each invoice.
How do I turn an estimate into an invoice?
Open the estimate and tap Convert to invoice. The line items, tax rate and notes are copied into a new invoice, and the estimate is marked as accepted.
Can I reuse a previous invoice?
Yes. Open it and tap Duplicate. You get a new draft with the same customer and line items and the next available number.
Where is my data stored? Is it backed up?
Everything is stored only on your iPhone. It is included in your normal iCloud or computer backup of the device. There is no InvoiceApp account or cloud sync, so your data does not move to a new device unless you restore from a backup.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Settings › Help & legal › Export my data creates a file containing your business profile, customers and documents that you can save or share.
How do I delete my data?
Settings › Help & legal › Delete account permanently removes all customers, documents and settings from the app. Deleting the app also removes its data from your iPhone.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Settings › Subscription › Manage subscription, or in the iPhone Settings app › your name › Subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple; cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid being charged for the next period.
I reinstalled the app and lost Pro
Settings › Subscription › Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you subscribed with.
Can I send invoices by email from the app?
Use Share PDF and choose Mail. Sending directly from the app and online payment links are not available yet.
